Welcome, Scott Forster!

Los Gatos United is pleased to welcome yet another distinguished head coach to the club. Scott Forster, a native of Newcastle, England, comes to LG United with over 20 years of coaching experience.

Most recently, Scott was Executive Director at Liverpool International Academy. While at Liverpool, he developed nationally-ranked youth teams that won several elite tournaments, including the NorCal State Premier Cup.

Scott has also had success at the college level. In 2017, he guided San Jose State’s club team to its most successful season in school history. Several players from that team went on to further collegiate and professional success โ€“ fueled in large part by the winning environment Scott fostered.

Following his success at San Jose State, in Fall 2018, he joined the coaching staff of MSUB menโ€™s soccer, where he supports college scouting and recruitment in California.

Holding advanced national and premier coaching diplomas, Scott is an English FA certified player scout and has a long track record of building team culture and developing competitive players. He will be supporting teams across the LG United boys’ program and will add tremendous value to our club operations, helping make LG United a top destination for players to compete, grow and develop.

Scott and his wife have lived in Los Gatos for six years. In addition to soccer, they have a passion for hiking, scuba diving and camping. Please join us in welcoming Scott and his family into our soccer community!
