Los Gatos United is proud to highlight two exceptional alumnae who continue to make an impact at the collegiate level: Kai Tsakiris and Alyssa Szarlacki. Both players are showcasing the skill, leadership, and commitment that define the values we hold at Los Gatos United.

Kai Tsakiris – University of Florida

Former Los Gatos United and ECNL standout Kai Tsakiris has made an immediate impression in her freshman season with the University of Florida Gators. She was recently recognized with All-Southeastern Conference (All-SEC) Third Team and SEC All-Freshman Team honors, one of only four freshmen in the entire conference to earn All-SEC recognition.

Tsakiris leads the Gators in points with 13 and has 5 assists, while also sharing the team lead in goals with 4. She is one of only two players to start every match this season, demonstrating her consistency and influence in the midfield. Before arriving in Gainesville, she was named the ECNL U18/19 National Player of the Year, a testament to her excellence and dedication throughout her youth career.

Alyssa Szarlacki – Cal Poly

Another Los Gatos United alumna, Alyssa Szarlacki, helped lead Cal Poly to a historic Big West Championship victory. The Mustangs earned a 1–0 win over UC Santa Barbara to capture their first Big West Tournament title in 21 years and secure a slot in the NCAA Division I Tournament.

Szarlacki, a key member of Cal Poly’s goalkeeping unit, has been instrumental in the team’s success this season. Her composure and presence both in the goal and off the field has contributed to the Mustangs’ championship performance and return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2004.
