The NWSL has awarded a franchise to the Bay Area, and we couldn’t be more excited!  Thanks in large part to the tireless efforts of Leslie Osborne and her fellow USWNT legends Brandi Chastain, Danielle Slaton and Aly Wagner, world class women’s soccer is finally coming to our area in 2024.

You’re Invited to the big kick-off event, FC Day for the Bay on Saturday, June 3, from 12-3pm at the Presidio Main Post Lawn in San Francisco, where the new team name will be unveiled, along with the team colors and brand merchandise.

You’ll get a chance to meet and greet the club’s co-founders, USWNT legends, with introductions from Sheryl Sandberg. Fans at FC Day for the Bay will also enjoy a live concert from singer-songwriter Kelley James, food trucks, giveaways, a 360-degree photo booth, lawn soccer games and much more. This is a kickoff you won’t want to miss!
