WHEN ARE YOU LOOKING TO JOIN?
ANNUAL SPRING TRYOUTS
The main competitive tryout period is in May and June. Specific dates and eligibility information depend on the age group and season.
Looking ahead? Advance registration or interest may be collected in Byga before the tryout dates. The appropriate link and details will appear here when available.
Submitting a form does not authorize an immediate evaluation or attendance at training. Follow the confirmed session details and applicable league requirements.

MID-SEASON COMPETITIVE TRYOUTS
Planned for November / December 2026. An opportunity for recreational players and other eligible players to explore joining LGU’s competitive program during the current season. Previous competitive experience is welcome; current registration status matters.
Players currently registered on another NorCal club’s competitive team may not attend these winter tryouts. This restriction applies regardless of the league that team plays in.
Age groups, specific session dates, locations and the Byga signup link will be published here when ready. Registering interest does not confirm a tryout appointment or a team place.

NEW TO THE AREA OR LOOKING TO JOIN AT ANOTHER TIME?
Looking to join at another time? Players who are not currently registered with a NorCal competitive team can ask LGU about other opportunities. Timing depends on applicable rules, the age group, team fit and roster space. The advertised winter sessions are not a promise of unrestricted admission at any time.
Already registered with another club, or unsure of your status? Ask LGU for guidance before attending any session. Relocation or other circumstances require review; an interest form does not grant an exception. Previous competitive experience alone is not the same as current competitive registration.
NorCal’s Winter Recreational Tryout Window runs from the first Monday of November through the first weekend of February. That is the league window, not LGU’s session schedule. See Section 4.2 of the current NorCal handbook for the eligibility restriction.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
1. Understand the opportunity. Review the relevant age groups, dates, eligibility and competitive-program commitment on this website.
2. Continue in Byga. When the appropriate link is available, complete LGU’s tryout registration or interest form in Byga, our club management system. There is no separate website player-registration form to complete first.
3. Follow your confirmed instructions. Byga and the club’s follow-up explain the applicable session or next step. Registering interest does not schedule an immediate evaluation or override league rules.
4. Review the outcome and next steps. Coaches make the player-placement decisions. Byga manages the associated decisions, communications and enrollment steps. Review any offer’s team, schedule, dues, travel and included services before accepting; a tryout does not guarantee placement.
QUESTIONS ABOUT ELIGIBILITY OR TIMING?
Use the relevant Byga link when registration or an interest form is available. Email is a separate help option for a question not answered here, uncertainty about current registration status, or a situation that needs club review.
For a minor player, a parent or guardian should contact us. Include the player’s age, program, current club status and your question. Please do not send identity documents, medical records or payment details. An email inquiry is not a tryout registration.
