FALL 2026 / LOS GATOS UNITED
FALL REC SOCCER LEAGUE
Local teams. Weekend games. A season together.
Fall 2026 is in its final weeks. Most new players should explore Winter Futsal or Spring Rec 2027. U14 and high-school Super Rec teams continue into the second week of November.

FALL 2026: FIND YOUR NEXT STEP
Planning ahead? Start with Winter Futsal or Spring Rec 2027. If your player wants to join Fall 2026 immediately, contact LGU before registering so staff can check for a suitable team place. A registration page does not by itself confirm that space is available or that a player can begin immediately.
U14 or high-school player? The Super Rec season continues into the second week of November, so a late addition may be more feasible in these age groups. Email LGU with your player’s age and availability. Staff must first confirm that a suitable team can take them; a place is not guaranteed.
Staff confirmed a place? Follow the registration instructions LGU gives you. Every family must still register and pay for its own player. If your representative has already applied, choose Team Reg in the player form rather than starting another team application. See individual and team registration guidance. The published team process does not mean late team applications are currently being accepted; contact recsoccer@losgatosunited.com about that situation.
Already registered? Use your Byga account and current club messages for your assigned team, practice location, game schedule and any changes. The information below explains the season; it is not your team’s live calendar.
Need help? See after-registration guidance, or contact recsoccer@losgatosunited.com for an individual registration or team question.
THE FALL 2026 WEEK
Parent-led practices during the week and league matches mostly on Saturdays. These are the current Fall arrangements, not the new Spring 2027 Teen Soccer format.
U6–U8 / One weekly practice
One parent-led practice each week, on Tuesday or Thursday.
U10 through high school / Two weekly practices
Two parent-led practices each week, with Monday and Wednesday designated practice days.
Weekend games & optional training
League matches are played mostly on Saturdays. An optional Friday technical-training add-on offers another opportunity for interested players.
WHO YOUR TEAM PLAYS
Players from U6 through U12 compete in LGU’s local recreational league. Fall divisions may be separated into single-year age groups, such as U7, U8, U9 and U10, when registration numbers support it. Final groupings are confirmed for the season rather than guaranteed in advance.
For Fall 2026, older teams play in U14 and high-school divisions. The high-school group brings together U15-U18 players. This is the current Fall program, not the new Teen Soccer format launching in Spring 2027.
Older teams’ weekend competition is through NorCal Premier’s Super Rec League: 8–10 games against other local clubs, with divisions organized geographically and by level.
A FINISH TO REMEMBER
U6–U8 Halloween Jamboree

U6: 8:30-10:30 a.m.
U8: 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Follow your team’s instructions for arrival and game assignments.
U10–U12 Fall Classic
October 26 – November 1, 2026. A season-ending tournament with multiple divisions, preliminary games and championship matches on Sunday afternoon.
NEW FOR 2027: TEEN SOCCER
Launching Spring 2027 for U14 and high school players: one optional weekday small-sided session, weekend matches and an LGU competitive coach.
This is a new program for next spring. It does not change Fall 2026 team schedules.
