WINTER 2027 / RECREATIONAL FUTSAL
WINTER FUTSAL LEAGUE
Keep the game in your winter.
LGU is finalizing its next Winter Futsal offering. The format below is a planning preview, not a confirmed registration offer. Entry options, coaching, ages, schedule and fees are subject to confirmation; no registration opening date is confirmed.
THE GAME-DAY PLAN
One weekend match.
Divisions organized by age and level.
LGU game-day coaches.
Team organization, substitutions and player support.
Refereed games.
An organized league experience.
WINTER DETAILS ARE BEING FINALIZED
Exact age bands, schedule, fees and the final fundamentals format will be published before registration. Registration details will be posted here before opening.
REGISTER AS A PLAYER
Most players are expected to register individually. LGU will form teams using age and level, so families do not need to organize a roster.
Already have a group? Pre-formed teams may also register, subject to the final division structure.
LGU ORGANIZES GAME DAY
The planned model assigns two LGU competitive coaches to each game to manage teams, substitutions and player support. Volunteer parent coaches are not part of that model.
Families register to play; LGU manages the game-day soccer environment.
WHAT ABOUT PRACTICE?
The league is being designed around a light winter commitment rather than a traditional practice schedule. LGU is evaluating a short futsal-fundamentals phase before league play begins.
The final practice and fundamentals format is not yet set. It will be confirmed before registration.
ENTERING AN EXISTING COMPETITIVE TEAM?
The separate Competitive Futsal League is for competitive club teams entering together. Those teams manage their own training outside league play.
