ABOUT LOS GATOS UNITED
A club where players grow—and belong.
Since 1984, Los Gatos United has brought players and families together through soccer. Our community-based nonprofit club offers recreational and competitive teams, camps and training for players across Los Gatos and the South Bay.

GREAT PLAYER DEVELOPMENT HAPPENS IN COMMUNITY.
High standards and a sense of belonging are not competing ideas. Players need challenge, useful feedback and people who know them. They also need the freedom to try, make mistakes and keep learning.
At LGU, the connections between coaches, teammates and families are part of the development experience. Older players become mentors. Younger players see what comes next. The game creates relationships that reach beyond a single team or season.

COACHING IS CONNECTING.
Great coaching is more than running a session. It means knowing players, setting clear standards, giving useful feedback and building the trust that allows players to take risks and improve.
LGU’s technical leadership develops coaches and guides the soccer approach across the club, while leaving room for the individual relationships that make teams work.
ONE CLUB. MORE THAN ONE WAY TO PLAY.
A player kicking a ball for the first time and a teenager pursuing the next level need different environments. They can still belong to the same club.
RECREATIONAL SOCCER
Welcoming, organized soccer for players building skills, confidence, friendships and a lasting connection to the game.
COMPETITIVE SOCCER
Year-round development for players who want more challenge, more detail and a team environment built around continued growth.
CAMPS & TRAINING
Camps, clinics, futsal, sports performance and seasonal programs offer more ways to learn, train and keep playing.
New for Spring 2027: Teen Soccer. Weekend matches, one optional weekday small-sided session and an LGU competitive coach. Keep playing without making soccer your whole week.
