SPRING REC SOCCER LEAGUE
Another season. More time with teammates.
Spring 2027 recreational soccer for U6, U8, U10 and U12. Practices begin the week of March 1, with the first league games on March 6. A team-centered season for returning players and kids joining LGU for the first time.
A SEASON THAT FITS FAMILY LIFE
Teammates, local competition and time on the ball. Spring offers another season of organized soccer while leaving room for other activities.
Returning Fall players and first-time LGU families can explore the program. Our local Spring Rec divisions are U6, U8, U10 and U12. Players in the U14-U18 age groups can explore Teen Soccer, a separate program launching Spring 2027.
A week built around your team. One parent-led team practice per week, with optional technical training led by LGU competitive staff. Both begin the week of March 1. Exact weekday assignments and times will be confirmed separately.
Regular-season games. The first U6-U12 league games are Saturday, March 6. Teams play at least seven regular-season games, with an eighth if weather permits.
U6/U8 Jamboree: Saturday, May 1, 2027.
U10/U12 Spring Classic: May 4-9, 2027. Preliminary-round games run May 4-8. Championship games take place on the afternoon of Sunday, May 9, for teams that advance.
SPRING 2027: REGISTRATION & NEXT STEPS
Spring Rec 2027 registration is planned to open October 26, 2026. Recreational soccer does not require a tryout. The U6-U12 season begins with practices the week of March 1 and the first league games on March 6. Team-specific weekdays and times, locations, fees, package inclusions and registration links will be published before enrollment. Teen Soccer has a separate league calendar.
Choose the experience first. Explore the main Spring Rec season here, or the new Teen Soccer format for players in the U14-U18 age groups. Teen Soccer has its own weekly commitment and season details.
Register in Byga when enrollment opens. Spring Rec will distinguish individual-player registration from the team-application route. You do not need to organize a team to join. When available, the appropriate registration link will take you to Byga; no preliminary website intake form or tryout is required.
Organizing a team or joining one? The team-application process and each family’s player registration are separate steps. Spring-specific team requirements, deadlines and links will be published here before registration opens. See registration-path guidance, but do not use the Fall form to register for Spring 2027.
