The San Jose Earthquakes have signed Niko Tsakiris to a homegrown pro contract through the 2025 season with an option for 2026. Niko has played with the Earthquakes Academy since 2017 and is one of the youngest players in club history to sign a pro contract. In 2020 he represented the US at the U15 National Team Camp.

In a club press release, Earthquakes GM Chris Leitch stated that, “Niko is an incredibly promising young player that we integrated into first team training sessions throughout the 2021 season in preparation for this opportunity.”
